County Work Release
Renewal, Inc. houses female and males offenders who are referred by the Allegheny County Jail. Offenders are either detained pending trial or have been sentence by The Allegheny Court of Common Pleas for Alternative housing/Work Release or Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Work Release. Offenders referred to the Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Work Release are mandated to attend Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Services. While at Renewal, Inc. the offender will address their at risk behavior (ie. attend Outpatient Drug and Alcohol treatment, Mental Health Treatment, Domestic Violence), secure employment and obtain a release plan.
